EU4Energy project supported the organisation of Balkan Solar Summit 2025 held in Banja luka from 27th till 28th February 2025

The EU4Energy project has supported the organisation of Balkan Solar Summit 2025 (solarsummit.ba), which was held in Banja Luka from 27th till 28th February 2025, by organising the panel discussion on the topic of “Integration of RE into the Electrical Energy System with Storage Solutions – Energy Storage Systems”. The panel discussion was moderated by EU4Energy expert Prof.dr. Mustafa Music, while the introductory presentation was held by Mr. Mladen Zeljko from Croatian Energy Institute Hrvoje Pozar. The energy storage is becoming a key factor in the stability of the power system as the share of renewable energy sources (RES) grows. The panel has explored the practical applications of battery systems, technical and financial aspects, and successful implementation examples, providing insights into their role in a secure and flexible energy transition.
