The EU4Energy project supported the organization of the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week – SECW 2023
The EU4Energy project supported the organization of the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week by preparing two panels on the following topics:
- “Harmonization with the EU scheme for trading carbon emissions in the region”
The panel was moderated by Dr. Janez Kopač, Deputy Team Leader – Senior expert for energy on the EU4Energy project;
- “Mandatory oil reserves: cost or safety?”
The panel was moderated by Dr. Branislava Lepotić-Kovačević, Senior expert for energy law on the EU4Energy project.
EU4Energy project experts also participated in the following panels:
- Dr. Corina Murafa, Adviser for a just transition, participated in the panel “Can and will the economies of the Western Balkans learn from their colleagues in the European Union when it comes to energy transition and turning it into a just transition?”
- William L’Heude, Deputy Head of the Department for Climate at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery of France, participated in the panel “Impact of the Emissions Trading System and the Carbon Limit Adjustment Mechanism on Power Systems”
- Isidora Micic, Senior Advisor for Market Integration, Nord Pool, participated in the panel “Liberalization of the electricity market, new market models that support security of supply and intensive development of renewable energy sources”
- Prof. Ph.D. Sanda Midzic Kurtagic held an introductory lecture and moderated the panel “Development of the Circular Economy”
- Zoran Bogunović, expert on the EU4Energy project for informing and involving the public, participated in the panel “ENERGY TRANSITION: Sustainability, opportunities and challenges”.
